As a modern, progressive law firm we recognise our responsibilities to the environment and to the local community. We integrate social and environmental considerations into our business activities and by doing so we hope to have a positive impact on our people and the people we work with.
We achieve the above in the following ways:
Charity Work and Who We Support
Our 2018 Charity of the Year was Macmillan Cancer Support.
After a year of hard work and dedication, St James’ Square handed over an incredible £13,105 to the charity.
We encourage our employees to be involved in voluntary roles within charities and community projects. Some of our lawyers also provide advice to charitable organisations on a pro bono basis. It is our hope that by doing this we can support local businesses and charities for the benefit of the wider community.
We sponsor a number of businesses, clubs and community projects.
We are proud sponsors of grassroot football teams, Whitley Bay Sporting Club U15s and Morpeth Town Juniors U11s Vipers.
Doing our bit for the environment
We aim to reduce the impact we have on the environment. We recycle items used by the firm including paper, toner cartridges, glass bottles, cans and plastic.
